Adult Bible Study – Building Beloved Community Zoom Book Study
You are invited to participate in this 10-week Zoom book study exploring Building Beloved Community: The Courage to Love in the Face of Tyranny, written by the United Methodist Council of Bishops. This timely resource invites United Methodists to “test the spirits” and faithfully live out our baptismal and membership vows in today’s world.
To make participation accessible, the study will be offered at several times each week: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, and Tuesday mornings. Sessions will begin the week after Labor Day and conclude the week before Thanksgiving.
FAITH UMC’s current Wednesday study will continue through Labor Day. After Labor Day, the Wednesday group will decide whether they would like to continue with a study of their own or join the Conference-wide Building Beloved Community book study.
A new group will also be forming to participate in the Conference study, so there may be two groups meeting—one continuing with the Wednesday group’s chosen study and another participating in the Conference-wide study.
